Suzanne Woodrow-Snell

Since her admittance to the State Bar of Oklahoma in 1993, she has acquired invaluable experience in navigating all facets of family law, particularly high-asset divorce cases and custody issues.

She has considerable experience with issues concerning paternity, grandparents’ rights, family law matters affecting active duty service members, complex property divisions, and multistate custody agreements.

While Suzanne strives to settle disputes outside of court, she prepares for every case with diligence and attention to detail in case trial is unavoidable. Her clients have enjoyed successful resolutions to their family disputes, and they laud her professionalism and work ethic. She takes a compassionate and empathetic approach to fighting for her clients, knowing that divorces and custody disputes present unique challenges to those she represents.

Suzanne earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Oklahoma in 1992. She takes advantage of continuing education and professional development opportunities to stay abreast of the latest developments in family law and to serve as a tireless advocate for her clients.

Suzanne attended training at the Family Law Advocacy Institute in Boulder, Colorado, which is continuing legal education directed by the Family Law Section of the American Bar Association and the National Institute for Trial Advocacy. She was also selected to attend the Trial Lawyer College, a rigorous and prestigious three-week program conducted by a preeminent trial attorney, Gerry Spence.

Before attending law school, Suzanne worked as a chemist for oil and gas companies. She earned her Bachelor of Science from Oklahoma State University. As a mother and divorcee, she was inspired to pursue a career as a family law attorney.

Her accomplishments in the courtroom and her contributions to the profession of law are substantial. Suzanne is the former president and vice president of the McClain County Bar Association, was honored in the esteemed “Who’s Who in America” directory, and was named a Paul Harris Fellow within the Rotary Foundation of Rotary International. She contributed her expertise on custody issues for military personnel as the author of an article that appeared in the Oklahoma Bar Journal in 2014. She’s also served as a municipal judge since 1998.

She holds membership with the American Bar Association, the State Bar of Oklahoma, the Cleveland County Bar Association, and the Garvin County Bar Association. She also belongs to Rotary International and the Oklahoma Municipal League.
